Ronaldo, the sharpshooter and FIFA 2008 World Player of the Year, gets turned around in front of Rayo Vallecano's net, but no matter: he uses his heel to blind-kick the ball past an utterly stupefied goalie. @steveo_football called the strike a "staggering invention of a goal" and "genius," and judging from Ronaldo's prancing celebration across the pitch, he agreed. Is it good enough to make Americans care about soccer? Probably not, but it won first-place Real Madrid the game, 1-0.
